is possible programmatically protect worksheet in spreadsheet allow specific people edit it?

i can't find decent documentation or examples on how this. things can find may relevant setrights()/getrights() , getcontributors() methods in baseentry.java, don't think good, don't know because there's no documentation.

is there feed url can post to update list of contributors?

there nothing close in spreadsheet api. basics set cell color or insert row don't exist. (there append row)

it works fine data , calculation little else.

im using jpicker color selector in form. have clear value set window/icon 'no color selected' state. i've tried following: $(':input[name="color"]').val(''); //access value directly.
